Coming from generations of talented musicians, Oscar was born to create huge and wonderful waves with his keyboard magic. A committee member of the Music Club at the University of Hong Kong and member of the Hong Kong Jazz Association, this young talent entertains and inspires with his impressive keyboard technique and quiet and down-to-earth style. He travels from one musical genre to another with ease and does it so effortlessly that one wonders whether he comes from another planet yet undiscovered by astronomers (probably named “Music” and only inhabited by musical prodigies). When he finally receives his Oscar or Grammy award, do not be surprised. Oscar also possesses a great sense of humour. His funny way of recounting his life’s experiences never fails to create ripples of laughter at our band’s post-performance dinners. If you would like to hear brilliant music and have a good laugh, get to know Oscar – he has a lot to share, including his knowledge of blending keyboard-playing with alcohol!

Being the official photographer for Dr Mellow, Tai captures and safeguards the visual memories of our band with his keen perception and mastery of light.
